Minimum order quantity: one minimum per range, any mix of models
There is one minimum order per range: pallet trucks, trolleys and roll cages, or scales. Any mix of models within the range counts towards it, so a 1500 kg and a 2000 kg electric pallet truck count together. Ranges do not combine. Minimum per range: Minimum order applies. Mix models in the range to reach it.
What the minimum order means
Every product on this site belongs to one of three ranges: pallet trucks, cash and carry trolleys and roll cages, or platform scales and pallet scales. Each range has one minimum order.
Minimum per range: Minimum order applies. Mix models in the range to reach it.
The minimum applies to the range, not to a single model and not to your whole basket. Order at least the range minimum from one range and that range qualifies. Another range in the same order has its own minimum.
Trade prices are ex VAT and are not published yet. Ask for a trade price on WhatsApp with the product code, the quantity and your delivery postcode.
Mix models in the range to reach the minimum
Any models within the same range count together towards that range's minimum.
- Pallet trucks: the 1500 kg and 2000 kg lithium electric trucks, the 2000 kg semi-electric truck and the 2500 kg hand pallet truck all count together.
- Trolleys and roll cages: the 246 L narrow aisle trolley, the 5 wheel trolley, the 6 wheel trolley and the zinc plated roll cage all count together.
- Scales: the 150 kg, 300 kg and 600 kg platform scales and the 2000 kg pallet scale all count together.
Ranges do not combine. A scale with a trolley does not count as two units towards either minimum.
Need fewer than the minimum?
Ask on WhatsApp with the product code, the quantity and your delivery postcode. You will get a straight answer: either a quote for the quantity you need or the smallest quantity we can place with the factory for that range.
Every order is made to order at our factory partners, so the answer depends on what is in production. We sell to business customers only.
Message us on WhatsApp or email sales@londonpallettrucks.co.uk.
Why we have minimum order quantities
We are factory-direct. Every order is placed with our factory partners against your order, shipped by sea freight and delivered to you by pallet carrier. Nothing is held in the UK.
A minimum per range lets each order fill its share of a shipment, which keeps the trade price low and the freight per unit sensible. It is the same logic as any trade purchase: buy in multiples, pay the trade price.
Every quantity is quoted per unit. Send the quantity you have in mind on WhatsApp and the quote shows the price per unit ex VAT.
How ordering works once you reach the minimum
- Quote. Send the product codes, quantities, your business name and delivery postcode on WhatsApp. We reply with a trade price ex VAT, the delivery charge and the lead time in writing.
- Deposit. Confirm the order and pay the deposit. Production starts at our factory partners.
- Balance. Pay the balance before despatch. Orders are not cancellable once in production.
- Delivery. Kerbside by pallet carrier on a tail-lift. See delivery of pallet trucks London for how it arrives.
Made to order at our factory partners and delivered to your door by pallet carrier. Typical lead time 8 to 12 weeks from order confirmation. Deposit 30% on order, balance before despatch.
No trade account needed to order
Any UK business can order at trade prices. A trade account is optional. It adds credit terms for UK limited companies and LLPs, subject to checks, and one contact who knows your site and delivery access.
There is no minimum spend to open an account. The minimum order per range still applies to every order.
Sales only. We do not hire. We do not sell used equipment. We are not a cash and carry. Business customers only.
Frequently asked questions
What does the minimum order mean?
Each range has one minimum order: pallet trucks, trolleys and roll cages, or scales. Reach the range minimum, in any mix of models, and the range qualifies. Another range in the same order has its own minimum. There is no separate minimum for the whole basket.
Can I mix models to reach the minimum?
Yes. Any models within the same range count together. A 1500 kg and a 2000 kg lithium electric pallet truck count as two units towards the pallet truck minimum. Two 300 kg and two 600 kg platform scales count as four towards the scales minimum. Trolleys and roll cages count together. A scale with a trolley does not combine.
Can I buy just one?
Ask on WhatsApp with the product code, the quantity and your delivery postcode. Because every order is made to order at our factory partners, a single unit depends on what is in production, and we will tell you plainly. Trade prices are quoted per unit ex VAT and apply from the range minimum. We sell to business customers only.
Do prices drop if I order more?
Every quote is per unit ex VAT for the quantity you ask for, so send the quantity you have in mind on WhatsApp and the written quote shows the price per unit, the delivery charge and the lead time. Mixed models in the same range count together towards that range's minimum. Prices are not published on the site and are confirmed in writing before you pay.
Why do you have minimum quantities?
We are factory-direct. Every order is placed with our factory partners against your order and shipped by sea freight, so there is no UK holding to sell from one at a time. A minimum per range lets each order fill its share of a shipment, which keeps the trade price low and the freight per unit sensible.
Does the minimum apply to every order, including repeat orders?
Yes. The range minimum applies to every order, whether it is your first or a repeat, and whether or not you hold a trade account. Any mix of models within the range still counts towards it. A trade account changes how you pay, not the quantity: credit terms for UK limited companies and LLPs, subject to checks. Ask on WhatsApp if a top-up order falls short.
Send the model code and quantity
We reply with a trade price ex VAT, the lead time and the delivery cost for your postcode. Business customers only.
